@ Home (2016-...)
This still ongoing (life) project is my home. The design is the result of the limited space, the low budget available and the need for maximal use.

It harmoniously combines the ability for storage and social life: inviting people, sitting at the dining table or in the cosy sofa corner.

The space is too small to install a standard library or cupboard next to a table with chairs. Therefore, the library and drawers were integrated into a bench, inviting you to eat and chat, and at the same time allowing to store books, games and utensils.

Toalla (2014)

Toalla means towel in Spanish. The metal is not only seen as something rigid but is translated by its form into a piece of fabric.

Paravand (2013)

This folding screen is inspired on a bicycle stand located on the square 'Frans Laurentplein' in Ghent.

Initially, the bicycle stand was measured and reproduced in wood (lasercut)before creating the newly designed paravand.

The model was sawn out in beech plywood.

The Pictorica (2013)

This foldable wooden food mobile has been inspired by the Mexican culture and in particular by the paintress Fridah Kahlo.

All has been adapted to serve the popular Mexican dish: chillaquiles.

This Mexican speciality is made from tortillas with a spicy tomato sauce and some sour creem.
